Welcome to Ms. Elwailly's Math!
We'll have a rewarding year as we embark on our math journey. I teach both Math 8 and Math 8 Advanced.
In Math 8, we'll learn about rigid transformations and congruence, dilations and similarity, linear relationships, linear equations and linear systems, functions and volume, associations in data, exponents, and pythagorean theorem and irrational numbers.
In Math 8 Advanced, we'll learn about sequences, linear and exponential functions, features of functions, equations and inequalities, systems of equations and inequalities, transformations and symmetry, congruence, construction, and proof, connecting algebra and geometry, and modeling data.
My job is to teach you, inspire you, and help you grow. Your job is to learn! Together we can achieve our goals.
